How painful is it to get tattoos on your stomach?

I was thinking about getting one. I saw a hearty looking guy having to be held down while he got one. Just wondering how sensitive it was when getting stomach tattoos.

out of all mine the one on my stomach hurt the worst but it really wasnt that unbearable. The tattoo artist said that i sat very well. im nineteen and such a wimp and i sat just fine

It really depends on quite a few things, first of all,you’re pain tolerance. But also,where on your stomach; tattoos on the ribs are known to be some of the most painful,closer to your hips will hurt less, but anywhere over bone will hurt quite a bit.
If you do decide to get whatever it is you want, make sure you go to a professional, someone with a great reputation,as the tattoo artist can also effect the amount of pain.

OMG the part on my stomach hurt the worst i wanted to cry i took it better on my rib part then the stomach and my pain tolerance is high

None of mine on my stomach/hipbones hurt at all, I barely felt them, but I watched my boyfriend nearly cry while he got his stomach one done, It just depends on pain tolerance.
